Our premium European acrylic fabrics are designed to last 10-15 years with proper care. They resist fading, mildew, and rot while maintaining their color and strength even with regular sun exposure.
Our awnings are primarily designed for sun protection. They can handle light drizzle or misty rain when properly pitched, but should be retracted during heavy rainfall to prevent water pooling that could damage the fabric.
Retractable awnings give you flexibility – extend them when you need shade and retract them when you want full sunlight. They don’t need to be removed seasonally, they maximize natural light on cloudy days, and they protect your furniture from UV damage.
Our awnings can handle light to moderate winds (under 25 km/h). For stronger winds, we recommend retracting your awning. A good rule of thumb: if the wind makes you uncomfortable sitting outside, your awning should be retracted.
Motorized awnings offer greater convenience – simply press a button to extend or retract your awning. Research shows that motorized awnings get used up to four times more often than manual ones. For awnings wider than 16 feet, we generally recommend motorization.
